Documents are the single most common reason a trip gets postponed. Check everything a month before departure, and you will still have time to fix it.
- Passport. It must be valid for at least six months on the date of departure. If it expires sooner, replace it right away: an appointment and issuing take weeks.
- Visa photo. Colour, white background, face uncovered. Phone snapshots against a light wall are usually rejected.
- Meningococcal vaccination (ACWY). It is given in advance — at least ten days before departure. Take the certificate with you on the trip.
- Copies on your phone. Photograph your passport, visa, certificate and insurance. If the original stays in the hotel safe, the copy will help.
Visa requirements change from time to time — check the rules on escorts, deadlines and certificates with your Jazeera Travel manager before applying: we handle the application and will tell you if anything is missing.
